in america we view obsession with backing into parking spaces as an alpha male trait. i'm not sure how they view NOT backing into parking spots here in japan but, it usually appears that i'm the only one in the country who doesn't do it incessantly.

Hi Tiffany! I visit often but I haven't been commenting, and just thought I'd type a few words!
Japan is one country of many that I've never visited. Your adventures in the orient bring back memories for me when I lived in Europe. I was in northern Italy for three years. The way of life is something I completely embraced. What a transition when you finally go back to the states and experience culture shock all over again!!!
