thailand or bust!!!

bust? no thanks. thailand it is. for those i haven:t gloated to yet...over christmas break i:m heading on a 17 day trip that starts in bangkok and winds it:s way down south through the peninsula and hits a couple of islands, by boat taxi of course. there are about 8 of our girl friends making the trek. how much trouble can we possibly get into? there are elephant rides to waterfalls that look absolutely awesome...also scuba diving, kayaking, hiking, muay thai kickboxing matches, plenty of temples and architecture and shopping. we:ll hit up a full moon beach party and there:s a huge new year:s eve bash on an island infamous for partying. wait...i:m so excited i might actually bust after all!

Sorry have to post annonymous as I have no account. I live here in Thailand after you go to "Full Moon Party" which is an amazing ride, an experience that if it doesn't send you crazy will change your outlook on life forever. Jump across to a small island called Lang Kawei (I'm not sure if that's really how its spelt in English. It's smack bang between Thailand and malaysia. It's like a little spot of heaven after 36 hours of fiery hell. The fish are so (tame) or rather unscared of you that they actually come to you when you get in the water.

Enjoy your trip. You are coming at a great time of year. For your food fetish. Pla Neung Manao (Steamed fish in lemon) Namtok Moo (A spicy pork dish in a kind of gravy like sauce, the description does not do it justice) Pad Thai (Stir fried noodles with fresh prawns and lemongrass) a couple of soups Tom Yum Koong (a spicy prawn soup with a hint of lemon) or Tom Kah Kai (A chicken and coconut soup) Enjoy...
